SPS kicked off its yearlong celebration of 50 years of coeducation with a virtual event at which three alumnae spoke about their personal and professional paths and examined the idea of building purposeful lives. There were smiles, there were siblings, there was plenty of cider. Last weekend, some 800 parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and other family members visited their SPS students on grounds for the first in-person Family Weekend since 2019.
When 1+1=3 At Saturday's Parents Chapel, Rector Giles spoke about the history of the Chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul and the transformational power of community at St. Paul's School.
This summer, Tristan Brigham ’22 completed an internship on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and machine learning as well as an Applied Science & Engineering Program externship focused on cybersecurity. The 2021 recipient of a Kiril and Kate Sokoloff Prize then used his award to equip a class of underprivileged teens with computers and teach them the basics of programming and internet safety.
Sunny, open areas. Cozy kitchen islands. Earlier this year, SPS rolled out upgrades to the common rooms in half a dozen student houses, creating new collaboration spaces and quiet study nooks for their residents.
Dr. Theresa Gerardo-Gettens P’07,’11 is a gifted science instructor, dedicated athletic coach, and beloved house parent. In the video above, she says that — more than 30 years into her SPS career — she still loves the feeling of stepping into a classroom with her students.
Gifts to The SPS Fund provide the resources Gerardo-Gettens and other SPS teachers need to help students make the most of their St. Paul's School experience.
Help recognize alumni who are making an impact on a local, national, or global level. Nominations for the Alumni Association Award should be submitted by Oct. 31.
