St. Paul’s School began Spring Term on Monday, March 28, with Spring Convocation in Chapel. Invited to deliver the Convocation address was the Rt. Rev. Bishop A. Robert Hirschfeld, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire. As school life resumes, and as Sixth Formers in particular begin to contemplate life after SPS, Bishop Hirschfeld’s message around the theme “I am enough” provided a framework for the excitement and challenges the final months of the academic year will bring.
Community service has always been an important component of the St. Paul’s School experience. For students like Declan Casey ’22, spring break service-learning projects are an opportunity to make a difference and gain a new perspective on the world beyond the grounds of SPS.
On March 10, St. Paul’s School made offers of admission to 206 young people, representing 32 U.S. states and 14 countries. As these prospective Paulies prepare to visit the grounds April 2 and 6, the School offered a preview of the camaraderie and community that await them in Millville.
Lily Fitzpatrick ’25 took up wrestling three years ago, at age 12. Last month, she made St. Paul’s School history twice in one week by pinning down two separate titles. On Feb. 20, she became the School’s first female New England wrestling champion; on Feb. 26, she was crowned female National Prep Wrestling Champion — another first for the Big Red.
Alumni, parents and other members of the St. Paul's School community are invited to tune in tonight for an intimate conversation between professor and civil rights activist Ted Landsmark ’64 and Emmy Award-winning journalist Michel Martin ’76, hosted by the SPS BIPOC Alumni Advisory Council.
