Rector Kathy Giles has appointed Scott Bohan ’94, SPS dean of admission for the past 10 years, to the role of chief advancement officer for the School. Derek Johnson, associate dean of admission and director of multicultural recruitment, has been asked to serve as interim dean of admission for the next academic year.
Identifying and providing additional support for incoming students who may have gaps in content and skill acquisition due to the impact of the pandemic will be critical to their success this year.
Working to Cure Cancer – Before College The FDA is paying attention to a new method for delivering chimeric antigen receptor T-cell immunotherapy to cancer patients, and research by Isabella Pargiolas ’21, performed on cutting-edge technology in the Lindsay Center, made a difference. READ MORE

ASP Returns to the Grounds Representing 60 New Hampshire public and parochial high schools, 171 rising seniors took part in the Advanced Studies Program, which this year was divided into a two-week online Leadership Institute and three weeks on the grounds. READ MORE

An Olympic Dream and a Family Legacy The Stanford Daily highlighted Alie Rusher ’14 as she prepared to fulfill her dream to represent the U.S. in Tokyo and compete in the quadruple sculls. It’s a family tradition — Rusher’s parents, Cynthia and John Rusher ’85, are Olympic athletes, too. OLYMPIC DREAMS
Stanley Cup Champions Pick Flinton Size, strength, and difficult to play against — that’s what the Tampa Bay Lightning was looking for, and the team found it in draft pick Cooper Flinton ’22. Save the Date: Anniversary Weekend 2022, June 10-11 Anniversary Weekend 2022 will be on the grounds in Millville!
We will welcome form years ending in 2 and 7, alumni/ae whose in-person reunions were postponed due to COVID-19, and all alumni/ae who wish to visit the grounds during this special weekend.
SPS will host a special event for the Form of 2020 (who was not able to experience a traditional Graduation) on Thursday, June 9.
